Big Island Coffee Farm Tours

This hilltop estate in the Kona Hills on the Big Island offers tours on weekends. The front man and family members show guests around this picturesque working coffee farm. If you get there a few minutes early they'll brew you a cup of their marvelous coffee.

Excellent tour, the guide was very knowledgeable and was able answer all of our questions. The official greeter, Cookie, likes to have her chin scratched.

Don’t be deterred by the drive—the GPS might lead you through a gated community at first, but it is very easy to navigate and well worth the trek up the mountain- the farm also sends you the code and info you'll need. ​We took the free guided tour, and it was the highlight of our afternoon. We had such a wonderful tour with Carolynn! She was very knowledgeable about the whole process. She walked us around the property and showed us examples of all the different berries and how they hand pick the plants. The coffee was delicious! She is such a kind soul! Definitely recommend. It felt like a friend showing you around their home.

Great tour of a Kona coffee farm! We received fresh brewed coffee upon arrival which was delicious. Ended up buying a large bag of it. Jason is a knowledgeable and friendly guide. And make sure you try the chocolate covered peaberries-we ended up buying 4 bags!🤣

Lovely coffee farm and tour. Learned about how coffee was made and processed. Even the farm kitty was friendly. Bought coffee and chocolate covered peaberries.

While visiting Kona, we looked for something to do last minute and found Risng Kona Coffee Farm. It looked cute and easy to find so we set up a tour. We had a great time. Our tour guide Brice was awesome. He really made it accessible and interesting for our whole family (even the kids). Brice is really knowledgeable about all things coffee and his French Press sample will ruin you for all other coffee. Its a quick easy tour with a lot of really great info on coffee. Do yourself a favor and dont skip the ice cream they sell. It was all so good.

I went on the tour on April 12. It was a day where it rained off and on. Jason, the farm owner is amazing with how much he knows and is willing to share with you on the tour. It was a joy to be with other coffee enthusiasts, who feel more like friends sharing their love the bean. You get to see the trees the roaster and all the stages of growing toasting and packing coffee.

Amazing tour!! Jason really has a great thing going here and supporting his business feels like a no brainer. The tour is free but I would have gladly paid money for this kind of tour. He started off making us all a cup of the best, freshest coffee I’ve ever had. The tour was very informative and engaging. 11/10

Had a great time. Short tour but super informative. They had great coffee samples, lovely gift shop and we had a picnic that we brought along with our family at the outdoor tables after our tour. Their resident orange tabby cat is very chil and delightful! We highly recommend stopping in for a tour.

Our family group had a great tour. Our guide was really informative and fun. We learned a lot about how coffee beans are grown and so much about the growers’ cooperative. The sample was good and we would have loved to try more!

Great experience! Learned a lot and enjoyed every minute. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We arrived and no one was at the shop/lobby. We called the number and spoke to Jason who said they are running behind and would be a few minutes. 2 minutes later he showed up just to ensure we had fresh coffee to try and felt welcomed. He ended up giving us the tour as well and it was Amazing. I wouldn't miss the Kising Kona tour if you are visiting Kona. Jason was great!

We so enjoyed our visit to Rising Kona Coffee. The tour was guided by Jason and he was very informative and knowledgeable about Kona coffee. He made it fun and enjoyable. My husband loved the coffee. I, personally, don’t drink coffee, but I loved hearing about the plants and roasting process. We really recommend this tour.

Jessica was great! She kept my two small children entertained as well as providing an educational tour of their farm. We all definitely learned something during the tour. The coffee drinkers very much enjoyed the coffee as well!
